The Revelation of Our True Selves in a Chaotic World

In our modern era, it’s easier to question the existence of God, yet the presence of the devil feels unmistakably real. The current state of the world exposes the true nature of each one of us and the chaos spreading through our societies. Perhaps it has always been this way, but now the facade has cracked.

One benefit of this biblical experience that we are all going through is a gain in understanding. It is obvious that without implicit agreement among those who rule the globe, we would have already surrendered to a catastrophic Armageddon. Humanity’s quest to discover itself underscores the argument about God’s existence. While God may be in heaven, everything on Earth appears to point to chaos and violence, making us feel as if we are on the verge of a biblical catastrophe.

Humanity has most likely always been chaotic and controlled by evil, with only rare flashes of extraordinary good. We could be lost, looking for the correct road in the wrong locations. Although nature provides us with calm, it is also misused and exploited. Prometheus promised us technical growth, which we have partially realised, yet the limitations of evil appear limitless, while good is confined, as if there are quotas for good in this world.

As we confront these apocalyptic visions, it becomes plainly evident that a new way of thinking about the state is called for. The conventional structures have demonstrated faults and vulnerabilities, resulting in a deteriorated state with authoritarian inclinations. To manage this turbulence and preserve humanity’s survival and development, we must innovate and modify our governing systems. This new paradigm must prioritise transparency, flexibility, and resilience, establishing a society in which the capacity for good is unrestricted while the spread of evil is restricted. Only through such change can we expect to restore stability and peace to a world that is today on the verge of catastrophe.

Artificial Intelligence could potentially aid humanity, but the average person might lack the discernment needed to navigate a society that is increasingly heartless and, in recent times, governed by states inclined towards authoritarianism due to the myriad flaws uncovered in their structures. And they should know it.

While we navigate this turbulent reality, the thin mask of civility has disintegrated revealing the underlying instability and the genuine core of mankind. Whether we succumb to this turmoil or rise above it remains to be seen, but one thing is certain: we are at a turning point in history.
